A new exhibition with a focus on oil and renewable heating has been launched and will take place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 28th and 29th October this year.

The Oil and Renewable Heating Show is supported by OFTEC, and for the first time will bring together oil heating and renewable technologies at the same expo.

Exhibitors will include major oil equipment manufacturers supplying tanks, boilers, cookers and ancillary products. There should also be a range of renewable energy solutions on offer such as solar thermal, air and ground source heat pumps and wood pellet boiler manufacturers.

Commenting on the launch of the new show, OFTEC Director General Jeremy Hawksley said: “Oil is the perfect partner for renewable technologies such as solar thermal, and with the launch of a new liquid bio-kerosene, the show will be an essential event for anyone installing energy efficient products in off gas main areas.”

The show will include a comprehensive programme of free seminars, covering key issues such as training, building regulations and how to comply with the latest environmental legislation.

Jonathan Hibbert from show organisers A&D Publishing said “anyone working with oil heating and cooking will want to know how the industry will change in the next few years to meet the challenge of reducing the carbon emissions. The Oil and Renewable Heating Show will offer technicians, architects, specifiers and local authorities the chance to find out more about the future of heating in rural areas.”

The dedicated show website www.oilandrenewableheatingshow.co.uk will be updated frequently with exhibitor information, and visitors can also register for free entry to the show. Anyone interested in exhibiting can contact Jonathan Hibbert on 01565 653 283.
