A company which specialises in providing homes and businesses with renewable energy solutions is celebrating its third birthday by unveiling plans to open offices in all corners of the UK.
Eco-Environments, which has its head office in Liverpool, has opened an office in Darlington just weeks after similar openings in Manchester, Penrith and Tamworth.
This takes the company’s staff tally to 20 with significant further recruitment planned for the coming months. The company’s dramatic growth has seen it go from a turnover of £100,000 in its first year to a forecast £1.8million this financial year.
The company designs, installs and commissions a range of renewable energy and energy conservation solutions, specialising in Solar Photovoltaic (PV), wind turbines and solar thermal water heating systems.
David Hunt, one of the company’s three directors, said: “Renewable energy is one of the most exciting sectors in Britain today and during the past three years, Eco-Environments has established itself as one of the fastest growing and most respected businesses in that market.
“We have a very clear business plan which will see us establish ourselves as the leading business of its kind in the North of England and then across the whole of the UK. We believe having a local presence is critical and we will continue to open offices in the different regions.
“Whether you are interested in doing your bit against climate change, reducing energy costs or creating an additional income stream through Feed in Tariffs and by selling surplus energy back to the National Grid, we are able to provide domestic and commercial customers with the best solutions for them.
“There is a lot of buzz particularly around Feed in Tariffs in which customers are paid for every kilowatt hour of electricity their system produces irrespective of whether they use it or not as well as being paid for electricity sold back to the Grid.
In addition to its regional openings, Eco-Environments has also recruited former financial advisor Ian Wilkinson as business development manager in Merseyside.
