Officials at the Government's Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have been caught out on their Twitter page following an extreme porn site.
Just days after revealing their online real-time energy monitor, the Whitehall department has been found following the real-time online antics of “kinky sexy webcam girlies”.
As well as receiving the latest headlines from fellow government departments and ministers on low-carbon and renewable energy news, the DECC team have also been receiving messages from 'Kinkyton', which include “open your eyes and your smile will widen”, “turn her over and enjoy her curves” and “behave like a beast”.
The unusual interest in the updates of a live sex website is certain to be an embarrassment to the department, which is spearheading prime minister David Cameron's promise to be “the greenest government”.
The Secretary of State in charge of DECC, Chris Huhne, a former journalist, described himself as a “social liberal”. He will be alarmed to discover his team have been receiving messages at their desks, which also include “Ignite the fire that sparks her desire” and “dry heat or wet steam... you decide”.
The Twitter page of Kinkyton is described as where “kinky sexy webcam girlies [are] ready to chat for free!”.
It links through to the KinkyTonight porn website, which hosts the real-time web cams of dozens of glamour models in various states of undress, under the banner “the ultimate live video chat site”.
