Energy management experts Evolve Energy has invested in a new Energy Operations Centre that offers round-the-clock support for thousands of buildings across the UK for clients to reduce their carbon footprint.
Based within the firm’s Wilmslow headquarters, the operations bureau is manned 24 hours by specialist engineers that evaluate real time energy use for a range of organisations from across the public and private sectors.
Evolve’s engineers create daily, weekly or monthly reports for clients based on data gathered from each site to assess how and where further reductions in energy use can be made.
A remote connection to the centre ensures the team can help businesses to quickly identify and pinpoint any faults in their equipment often avoiding the cost of an engineer site visit.
Neil Fright, managing director of Evolve Energy, said: “Installing state-of-the-art energy management systems is only one step on the path to reducing carbon emissions and operating costs.
“Regular monitoring energy consumption at our new Energy Operations Centre in Wilmslow means we can use the findings to suggest specific ways in which they can make further savings, and help them reach their efficiency targets quickly as well as offering a cost efficient service should equipment fail.”
